About Us
Steve Johnson launched this website in January 2024, to share valuable information, self-care worksheets, self-care workbooks, self-care informational blog posts and podcast episodes he’s collected, curated, and written over the past 6 years.
“I’ve always listened to motivational broadcasts since the mid-1980s when I was a struggling sales rep,” he said. “I found comfort in the voices of Earl Nightengale, Dale Carnegie, Norman Vincent Peale, Denis Waitley, Les Brown, Wayne Dyer and Tony Robbins.”
Johnson’s library expanded to hundreds of books and self-help tapes over the years. Starting in 2018 he turned his attention to the proliferation of PLR (private rights label) content he could obtain and quickly repurpose to help owners and managers of small businesses learn valuable skills that could boost their mindset from struggle to high schievement.
“I saw how once someone started to believe in their own innate skills, they began to believe they could win and succeed; and then they did.”
He admits it isn’t always so easy to turn to self-care solutions.
“Yes, I admit I read all the books, listened to the audio presentations, watched the YouTube videos. But bringing all the resources together when I needed them seemed difficult.”
Johnson’s expanding collection of self-care workbooks and wellness worksheets was literally choking and overloading his laptop’s harddrive and then filled dozens of back-up thumb drives.
Then he got a new idea: In late 2023, he decided to he needed to create a new site dedicated to sharing this valuable content with everyday folks struggling to find balance in their everyday lives.
Make it simple to navigate. And, free.
SelfCareHelp.com was born.
Future goals include adding social media community sites on Facebook, paid video tutorial e-learning centers, and free downloadable resources. A newsletter is planned when time allows, he noted. A podcast will not be far behind.
“I plan to interview experts in the field to enhance the gigabytes of content I already have to share, and I’ve written many articles and e-books of my own that I plan to publish this year as well,” he said.
Bookmark this site while you’re here so you don’t miss any of the new features, updates, and new content Johnson will be adding soon.
We’re begun building our official Facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/selfcarehelphealing
Please tell us what free resources you’d like us to add to our social media site. Our goal is to place only free content and news on FB, but if there is news of a premium paid webinar or workshop that we believe our audience would be interested in knowing about, we plan to post that information as well — with clear notification that these are indeed paid items. If there is particular content or specific content you’d like to see there, comment in the Facebook post so we can follow along what readers really want us to add in the future.
FYI and full disclosure: Many of the PLR articles have been repurposed/rewritten using AI tools like ChatGPT and AudioPen. Final editing has been done by humans (mainly Steve at this point!)
